A high-quality yearly planner made from recycled paper with details from the "Wheel of the Year" illustration printed on the front and back cover.

Take a closer look

This undated 56-week planner is made from post-consumer waste and recycled paper by our friends at Badly Made Books in Cork, Ireland. Recycled paper is great to write and draw on since the fibres have been thoroughly worked through the recycling process. This makes the pages thick enough that an inky pen won't leak through the other side. The planner is undated so you can start using it anytime and fill in the dates yourself.

You'll find more information about the artwork on the back cover.

Wheel of the Year

This print draws from the tradition of the Celtic Calendar, also known as the wheel of the year. It marks the cycle of the earth around the sun, celebrating that connection throughout the year with the solstices, equinoxes and seasonal festivals, including Imbolg, Bealtaine, Lughnasa and Samhain. You can read more about the “Wheel of the Year” here.

Why follow these cycles?

Native Circles invites you to slow down and notice natural phases and seasonal changes around you. These cycles offer us perspective, opportunities to reflect, and a sense of grounding in nature. Think of them as a field guide to a simpler life more connected with the wonder of the natural world.

About Native Circles

Native Circles are a set of simple illustrations that create space for connecting with nature and self-reflection in our homes. The prints are mounted onto a birchwood wheel that you can place on a table or easily install on a wall. They can be turned by hand with the changing seasons.

I recommend choosing one of the specially designed wood stands to display your new wheel - this lets you interact with your wheel by turning it with the change of the season or cycle. Choose a small stand to hold one wheel or a large stand that can hold three wheels, allowing you to build a collection of your favourite cycles.
