    Seasonal Foraging -Hedgerow

It’s one of life’s great pleasures to identify, pick and eat food from the wild. Throughout the year our hedgerows are bursting with growth, much of it edible and some truly delicious. It can be intimidating getting started with foraging but in reality many of us are more familiar with edible plants than we might think… This print is designed to remind the forager of the seasonal staples in the hedgerows: nettle, dandelion, blackberry and elderflower -plants we know intimately and yet maybe don’t find the time to gather or notice. This is a great starting point for anyone new to wild food or equally, a welcome keepsake for the seasoned forager.

Veg Patch -what & when to plant

There are few things so rewarding as growing your own vegetables. Equally it can be overwhelming trying to work out what to plant and when. Many of us have a small library of books on the topic, as well as a plethora of online sources, videos and accounts to follow. Still there is something reassuring about a simple guide. One with a bare minimum of information. Just a gentle nudge to say it’s time to sow carrots now or prepare the soil for next spring. This print is designed to do just that, and look beautiful too.

    Seasonal Food Calendar

A colourful, cyclical guide to locally grown, seasonal vegetables & fruit. Hang it in your kitchen, check it before you go to the market or plan your season's culinary adventures around this engaging guide. Make apple juice in October when you can pick them for free, anticipate midsummer when soft fruits like raspberries are at their best, or batch make sauerkraut in the winter months when there is a glut of cabbages. We know that locally grown, seasonal fruit and vegetables are healthier, tastier and have a much lower ecological footprint, it can even be cheaper too!

Native Circles are a set of simple illustrations that create space for nature connection and self-reflection in our living space. Native Circles are also available as an interactive wooden wheel that can be placed on a table or hung on the wall using the wooden stand.

Slow down to check in on the moon phases or reflect on the seasonal changes around you. These cycles can offer us perspective, flow and a sense of grounding in the world around us.

Think of them as a field guide to a simpler life more connected with the wonder of the natural world.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Custom and personalised orders

I'm really happy to discuss possibilities for custom or personalised orders. Wether it be a message to a particular person on a limited edition print or something more complex. Get in touch and we can try and work something out (-:

    Care instructions

Limited edition prints: definitely best to get them professionally framed, or buy a A3 size frame for them yourself. I can offer a bespoke framing service for those within Ireland and parts of the UK.
Birchwood Wheels: these are designed to be handled. I see them being taken of the stand regularly, being shown to kids, played, used in a yoga studio- whatever. So I have designed them to be pretty robust. They are on 4mm Birch Plywood, and have been sealed with a light coat of matte varnish. So they are designed to be used and handled but they should be treated with care also.

    Sizing details

Limited Edition prints are on SRA3 Paper 450mm x 320mm.

Birch Wood wheels are 4mm thick and 300mm diameter

    Sycamore Stands are 30 x 100 x 100mm

    Gift wrapping and packaging

I wrap usually in a delicate uncoloured recycled tissue paper followed by recycled brown paper or something similar. I use natural flax twine of recycled coloured string. I include a recycled luggage tag and everything is stamped with the Native Circles stamp.
All my gift wrap, packaging and postage materials sourced from Klee Paper in Dublin which provides all recycled materials and stationary. So rest assured! I worry enough about the environment for the both of us (-:
